Lake Mburo is located in western Uganda with a convenient location close to the highway. It is the smallest savanna national park of Uganda scattered with rocky ridges, forested gorges, papyrus swamps, and woodland lining lakes.

Bwindi is home to 326 gorillas, almost a half of the world’s population of mountain gorillas. There are also 346 species of birds and over 200 species of butterflies. This afromontane forest has a dense under storey of fern, vines and shrubs.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda’s most popular savanna reserve. The variety of habitats include grassland savanna, forests, wetlands and lakes. This makes for a wide range of large mammals and primates.
Kidepo Valley National Park lies in the rugged, semi arid valleys between Uganda’s borders with Sudan and Kenya, some 700km from Kampala. Gazetted as a national park in 1962, it has a profusion of big game and hosts over 77 mammal species as well as around 475 bird species.
