Kidepo Valley National Park lies in the rugged, semi arid valleys between Uganda’s borders with Sudan and Kenya, some 700km from Kampala. Gazetted as a national park in 1962, it has a profusion of big game and hosts over 77 mammal species as well as around 475 bird species.

Day1: Arrival

On arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be warmly received and greeted by a driver guide from Zzike tropical safaris who will then transfer you to the hotel for approximately 10 minutes. You will check in and then relax from the jetlag as you wait to be briefed about your 4 days safari to Kidepo.
Dinner and overnight at
Victoria Royal Beach Hotel.
Meal plan is half board.

Day 2: Transfer To Kidepo

Wake up for early breakfast, then check out and together with your driver, start a long journey to Kidepo via Kampala Soroti raod and to kotido and kaabong districts and to Apoka in the the far north eastern arriving in Kidepo valley national park in the evening. You will checkin and relax at the lodge while viewing some of the animals which come near the camp in the evening like the elephants, lions, etc. dinner & overnight stay at

Day 3: Game Drives And Community Walk

After an early morning breakfast we will take a thrilling game drive in the savannah plains of Kidepo which supports countless numbers of wildlife which include; cheetahs, spotted hyenas, buffalos, elands, striped jackals, elephants not forgetting the lion. Return to the lodge for lunch. After relaxation we will go for a game drive to the Narus valley to find more wild game that the park harbours. You will have a great opportunity for photographs as we return to the lodge. Relax a while and then go for a community walk to the karamojong society to learn about their culture and beliefs. You will interact with these locals, learn of their beliefs and pride then later return to your lodge for dinner and over night.

Day 4: Departure.

Depart Kidepo valley national park, driving through beautiful scenery. Have a lunch enroute arriving in Entebbe in the evening. Driving hours will be approximately 10 hours. You will then be dropped off to a hotel for an overnight which marks the end of our 4 days safari.
